Rubber Face Plate & Polyurethane Sheeting:
Developed to battle the forces of impact and abrasive wear in ore and aggregate mining/handling operations and coal preparation plants. Both types of sheeting can be built to fit, bolted or fastened into most anyplace these problems exist.
Rubber faced steel plate can prevent damage when steel meets steel or is unprotected against friction, abrasion and corrosion. Abrasiplate™ reduces operating expenses because it has a life expectancy up to ten times longer than unprotected metals. Abrasiplate™ is less expensive than replacement costs and results in less maintenance and down time. Abrasiplate™ or “rubber-face plate” is not simply a piece of sheet rubber glued to metal (like many companies offer). Our vulcanization process and specially formulated rubber compound results in a blister-free, virtually unbreakable bond between rubber and metal.
Polyurethane sheeting is tremendous with impact, abrasion, cut and tear resistance, and superior dynamic performance. Sioux Rubber & Urethane only uses high-quality urethane compounds, in a wide range of hardness, all at competitive prices. Urethane is lightweight, easily applied and has excellent impact and abrasion resistance. Urethane provides noise reduction, corrosion resistance and chemical resistance to mild acids and bases as well.
Featuring solid designs that prevent belt damage, constructed with premium impact resistant rubber, a 3/8” UHMW top and metal insert all permanently bonded through our special molding and vulcanizing process. Rubber provides excellent cushioning and impact absorption. Easily installed, impact bars are a cost effective method for conveyor supports, impact beds and feed chute collectors.
Metal inserts available in aluminum or steel depending on your specific needs. The bars come in standard lengths of 48”, 60” or 72” with a tapered leading edge.

Pulley Lagging & Roller Coverings:
From large rubber covered drive pulleys to small urethane coated idler rollers we have the capability of meeting the coating needs on most sizes and applications. Whether it’s a new roller or recovering your existing core, Sioux Rubber & Urethane can accommodate most any need and size up to 60” diameter and 20’ length. Most orders are ready to ship out in 3 days or less.
Internal lining of storage tanks, hoppers, tumblers, bins or pumps are one of our specialties. Chemical/Acid resistant rubber or sprayed-in urethane coating, we can offer solutions to most abrasion problem. Liners will not only protect the metal but also the product or contents from contamination. Liners are considerably cheaper than equipment replacement and the associated downtime for repairs and replacement.
Polyurethane Screening Systems:
Outstanding impact and abrasion-resistant polyurethane panels/screening systems provide exceptional wear, and are non-corrosive and chemical resistant. The material can be formulated to be very soft and pliable or extremely hard and smooth. The bond chemically adheres the urethane product to the substrate. Which makes the bond virtually unbreakable unless under excessive heat. The working temperature range is very broad- up to 350°F. Available in thicknesses from .040” to .375” and can be applied to steel, aluminum, stainless, concrete, wood or fiberglass.
