Tuff-Tube Spout Lining
Protect your equipment from the impact and abrasion of the frac sand industry. “Fracking” is extremely rough on your material handling equipment and transloading equipment. The constant abrasion of frac sand can wear down your equipment and cut into your profits, with repair and replacement costs.
The Tuff-Tube is a urethane spout liner manufactured by Sioux Rubber & Urethane which can be made or molded into almost any standard diameter spout size and length. Sioux Rubber & Urethane has designed a urethane liner that can be inserted, removed or rotated inside the spouts to extend the life of the spout. Material flowing in a Tuff-Tube will create wear patterns and by simply rotating the Tuff- Tube 120° – 180° will present additional wear surfaces. Completely used liners can be removed and replaced using the same spout. The Tuff-Tube can significantly reduce the abrasion of frac sand, extending the life of your equipment.
Urethane Liners and Coatings
Urethane can increase the life of your equipment due to the plastic elastomer nature. Industrial urethane coating bond to your equipment as they are flexible and will shrink or expand with the substrate. The inherent hardness and flexibility of industrial urethane coating protects machinery against abrasion, corrosion and impact, extending the life of the equipment. We can bond urethane liners directly to existing equipment such as pump housings, fan housings, cyclones and semi-trailers or manufacture a bolt-on or drop-in liner for your specific application. Many types of urethane are available in a variety of thickness to make the liner or coating perform at an optimum level.
Developed to battle the forces of impact and abrasive wear in frac sand industry. Rubber faced steel plate can prevent damage from when steel meets steel or is unprotected against friction, abrasion and corrosion. Abrasiplate™ or “rubber-face plate” is not simply a piece of sheet rubber glued to metal (like many companies offer). Our vulcanization process and specially formulated rubber compounds result in a blister-free, virtually unbreakable bond between the rubber and metal. Abrasiplate™ reduces operating expenses because it has a life expectancy up to ten times longer than unprotected metals. We can provide custom compounds to meet your specific application needs to include SBR, High Temperature Resistant, Neoprene, Gum, Chlorobutyl or Natural rubbers.
