Packaging Industry:

Sioux Rubber & Urethane is an ideal partner for the production and refinement of synthetics, papers, and cardboard packaging. Whether customer specification demands oil-, solvent-, uv-, ozone- resistance, antistatic or scuff resistance, Sioux Rubber & Urethane offers the ideal product for each application.

Textile Industry:

The textile refinement process places the highest demands on chemical and thermal durability, as well as on abrasion resistance of rubber roller coverings. For all refinement processes, Sioux Rubber & Urethane coats deflection rollers, couch rollers, and foulard rollers, and also high-performance couch rollers with optimum materials to meet these industry demands.

Printing Industry:

Sioux Rubber & Urethane offers the ideal solution for all print methods. Whether the process requires ink rollers, vibrating rollers, impression cylinders, calendar rollers and embossing rollers or a roller system requiring shafts made of steel, aluminum, conical or cylindrical fiberglass or carbon fiber, we guarantee an outstanding product to meet customer satisfaction.

Glass Industry:

Handling silica sand, glass or finished products will present special applications of Abrasiplate. Silica sand is very abrasive and will quickly wear through unprotected steel. Abrasiplate will last up to seven times longer than unprotected steel handling silica sand. A rubber-covered steel sheet will help solve problems of glass breakage when used to cover tables. Special compounds will also handle the high heat often encountered in this process.

Cyclone and Dust Collecting Systems:

Many dust collectors are now protected with a rubber covered steel sheet. Extreme abrasion causes rapid wear on unprotected steel. Abrasiplate backed with 16 ga. expanded metal is a natural for repairing existing equipment. It is very easy to form and fasten, yet will stay in place very well and does not require an adhesive.

Protect it with
Rubber®

Let’s Get Started on Your Custom Rubber Liner

Vulcanized rubber provides long-term, economical protection against impact, abrasion and corrosion in hundreds of applications. Vulcanized rubber delivers protection that is superior to glued on products. It can provide 5 to 10 times more protection and wear life than plain metal due to its permanent bonding and the capabilities/qualities of the rubber. Through the vulcanization process, Sioux Rubber & Urethane can apply a variety of types and thicknesses of rubber to virtually any metal object that fits your needs. The rubber can protect against chemical attack, impact damage, sliding abrasion damage or noise problems.
