The urethane can be formulated to meet your needs. Examples of specific needs are: food grade, high temperature resistance or soft surface. Urethane has a tremendous range of characteristics available.

Abrasion Values of Urethane
The following test results are from 50:50 sand and water slurry. The velocity of the slurry was 680 feet/minute for 7 hours. The numbers represent material loss, therefore the lower the number the better the abrasion resistance.
The materials tested are generic. The various brand name manufactured products may exhibit higher or lower values depending upon formulation and test methods conducted. The sole intent of the above is to provide the end user with a guide in the selection of abrasion resistant materials.
